Job Description
- Neuro-Oncology NP or PA locum needed ASAP
- Facility: located in Orange County
- Requires a highly competent, independent yet team-oriented individual who will be immersed in Neurology’s Neuro-oncology clinics
- Length of Contract: 3 - 6 months
- Schedule: M- F 8a - 5p *Weekday and Weekend Call is possible for a qualified Provider. If not qualified to help w/ Call, it will be day shifts in Clinic
- IF qualified for Call, then there is 24 hour weekday call and 24 hour weekend call
- Call requirements would include Rotation, Rounding and Admitting
- Outpatient and Inpatient responsibilities
- Dept Desc: full department of Neurology contains over 50 faculty and sub-specialties. Clinics are based in Orange and Irvine, CA. The Neuro-Oncology locum need will be primarily based at the Child Cancer Center in Orange, CA. However, peds patients are not part of the expectations. There are several sites for infusions and they are heavy in both clinical trials and regular research.
- Patient Population: 18 & up (adults only - no peds)
- EMR: Epic (prior Epic experience is preferred)
- Procedures: monitor dosage of infusions, etc. *More detailed job description from Client is attached in this Job's files. Please read and share w/ interested applicants.
- Experience required: 3 years
- Experience preferred: 5 years
- NO new grads - they need a locum that can jump and help right away after orientation shifts and be proficient
- CA license is required
