Job Description
Locum Source is working with a Medical Center in Maine that is looking for a locum Orthopedics First Assist PA or NP to assist with immediate coverage for 3-6 months. This facility is also open to locum to perm candidates. If you are interested in a permanent opportunity, this is a great way to “test the waters” before signing a contract. Dates & Schedule:
ASAP – 3-6 months
Possible ongoing dates
5 days/week clinic time and maybe one OR day
8 hour clinic days
Call 1:4
Setting:
Trauma level 3
Mostly Outpatient clinic and 1-2 OR days
Adult and some child demographic
Will not be working autonomously
Procedures:
Knees, Shoulders, joint injections, aspirations, casting, and wound change
Requirements:
NCCPA/AANP Certified
Active Maine license
BLS
Must be willing to act as first assist
Supervising physician will be present during assignment
COVID and flu vaccine
Experience required
