(Archived) Ortho (NP) Needed In SE Texas For Ongoing Coverage
Job Description
Cross Country Locums is searching for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) that’s available to work in an Ortho Clinic in South East Texas. This opportunity is full time and ongoing starting January 20th until the client and provider decide to transition into a permanent employee, if interested. The ideal provider will have at least 1-2 years of experience as a provider, preferably experience in Ortho.
This NP or PA will be responsible for:
-Seeing new patients in clinic
-Perform pre-op exams and post-op exams on surgical patients
-Round on patients in the hospital
-Preferred but not necessary: Scrub in for Ortho surgeries (total joints, arthroscopy, fracture repair)
-Be in the rotation to take after-hours calls from clinic patients if they occur
-Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
