Responsibilities:

Work alongside and collaborate with a team of board-certified otolaryngologists, audiologists, and APPs
-
Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
-
No weekends
-
Mainly clinic-based ENT with some hospital consults and inpatient rounding

See approximately 20 patients per day in clinic

Very minimal call, strictly phone call (no overnight call or hospital coverage)

Duties include flexible and rigid endoscopes, cerumen removal, suturing, drainages, removal of foreign bodies, fine needle biopsies

Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments

Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in Otolaryngology (preferred)

At least 1-2 years of experience as a PA or NP, preferably in primary care, urgent care, or a surgical subspecialty

Virginia Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License

Proficient with EMR systems

Ability to build rapport with patients and adapt to new environments

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
