Physician Assistant Nurse Practitioner Cherry Hill, NJ

We are looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner interested in a unique and rewarding medical practice in Cherry Hill, NJ. The practice encompasses stepping "out of the box" by incorporating advanced laboratory testing, genetics, nutrition, and imaging. The goal is to intercede much earlier in the course of a disease state to stop the untoward effects from happening. This may include maladies like diabetes, cardiovascular and peripheral vascular disease, degenerative joint disease, and or hormonal imbalances that go unrecognized until they are full blown. We embrace and use years of professional study, observation, data collection, and anecdotal records from patient results, to achieve optimal living.

The development of a comprehensive health plan includes areas of Metabolism, Genetics, Nutrition, Hormone balance and Lifestyle tailored to meet the individual needs of each patient. We have a commitment to identify, treat, and alleviate the causes of symptoms that manifest in patients. Many patients have chronic conditions they have struggled with for years. Other patients are unknowingly sacrificing their health because of their habits and lifestyles. Much of the damage may be repaired with proper identification and treatment.

We practice cutting-edge Functional and Integrative Medicine within our medical office. We specialize in extensive models for Prevention, Reversal, and Optimization. Position Summary: Your duties will include recording patients' medical histories, performing physical exams, ordering diagnostic testing, and creating patient care plans. You will also administer treatment and observe patients' functioning over time.

Position Responsibilities may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Make diagnoses and decisions about the management and treatment of patients (primarily for hormone imbalances and/or deficiencies).
  • Utilize monitoring and evaluation techniques that consider the client's nutrition needs.
  • Order, Read and interpret complex labs to provide custom recommendations and nutrition/diet planning to improve overall health and wellness.
  • Review dietary intake for factors that affect health conditions and nutritional risk.
  • Utilizes medical history, laboratory data, drug profile, and diet history to evaluate nutrition-related consequences.
  • Provides appropriate follow-up in accordance with the client's treatment plan goals.
  • Ability to be caring and empathetic when helping patients address dietary issues and related emotions.
  • Participates in treatment team meetings to contribute interventions and assessment results to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Identifies and reports leadership opportunities for dietary/nutritional services for quality improvement.
  • Demonstrates professional, ethical boundaries with patients.
  • Professionally cater to patient’s needs.
  • Participate in company events to promote wellness services.
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
  • Take medical history and examine patients
  • Provides and evaluates patient care according to protocols and quality assurance program criteria.
  • Restoring patients to good health by administering or suggesting interventions such as Hormone Replacement Therapy when clinically diagnosed (HRT), supplements, and treatment plans.
  • Determine and administer treatment protocols, including Supplements, HRT, Nutrition Counseling, Medication management.
  • Manage clients/client treatment plans: monitor progress, answer questions, follow up, address issues, etc.
  • Detecting changes in patient's health and modifying treatment plans as needed.
  • Performs history and complete physical examinations of patients either in a general medical setting or within the context of specialty clinics to which assigned; assesses the clinical status of patients; establishes and maintains health records.
  • Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones.
  • Participates in other meetings and committees as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • PA/NP license in NJ
  • 2 years’ experience as a PA/NP required
  • Experienced in treating patients using integrative and functional means.
  • Experience and passion related to nutrition, Food as Medicine, gut healing, treating underlying infections, detoxification, injections, Exercise, vitamins, herbs, medicine, and research are a plus

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday (~40 hrs per week)
