**Physical Medicine and Rehab Nurse Practitioner needed **

Interviewing ASAP

The position is with an integrated healthcare system providing quality diagnostic, ambulatory, and acute care, as well as rehabilitative and wellness services. This position offers full benefits including PTO, Health benefits, 401K, CME, etc.

Information and additional requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience as a NP
  • Working collaboratively in a multi-specialty group of 200+ providers
  • Works closely with our physiatrist and will be an active member of the acute rehabilitation care team
  • Rounding on 20-bed unit addressing physical, functional and medical needs of rehab patients
  • Admission and discharge notes, daily documentation and order entry, collaborating with PT, OT and Speech Therapists
  • Consults and screening of acute care patients for admission to IRF
  • Potential for outpatient follow-up and care clinic

The area itself offers a wide range of activities. There are over 600 miles of lakefront property in the area as well as national parks and rolling hills that are fantastic for hiking, mountain biking and skiing/snowboarding. In terms of education, there are fantastic schools for all ages - for the younger ones, New York public schools are exceptional, and the area also offers a variety of private and/or faith based schools as well. For colleges and universities, there are some locally and others within a few hour radius that are able to offer strong programs in all areas of study, as well as top tier athletic programs.
