StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $140000.00 - 175000.00

Formally launched in 2012, the Center for Advanced Practice at Stanford Health Care (SHC) is a nationally renowned institute dedicated to promoting the role of the Advanced Practice Provider (APP), especially as APPs play an increasingly visible role in health care both at SHC and throughout the nation. CAP develops processes and provides resources for the APPs within the organization in over 80 specialties in both inpatient and outpatient settings at SHC CAP is focused on supporting and cultivating APPs to empower them to providing outstanding and value-focused patient care. CAP has developed various programs and initiatives supporting wellness and professional development of APPs, leading to increased engagement and professional fulfillment. This innovative administrative infrastructure and centralization of resources for APPs has hospitals around the country looking to SHC as an example of how to structure their APP practices.

The Center for Advanced Practice (CAP) is committed to supporting the professional development of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who are integral members of the health care team. Over the last few years, the number of APPs within the institution has increased to over 500 (compared to less than 100 in 2007). CAP has championed the growth in APP numbers through various initiatives which focus on increasing APP engagement, recruiting and retaining exemplary APPs, and optimizing the multidisciplinary care team. Members of the CAP team have demonstrated dedication and passion towards empowering APPs within our organization so that they are positioned to provide effective, evidence-based, and efficient care for our patients.

  • Competitive compensation and benefits including shift differentials.
  • Full-time position with a schedule that includes three 12-hour shifts per week, 72 hours bi-weekly. Days and rotating weekends.
