About the GROUP:
Group is a FQHC primary care and behavioral health provider that offers quality, affordable care to all community members, regardless of income or insurance status.
About the POSITION:
Psychiatric NP/PA needed, due to shortage of providers in the area.
We would consider either a Psych NP or a PA as long as the PA has psychiatry experience. This position would in part be consulting with our PCPs who are already fairly skilled in prescribing psychiatric medications. We need a provider who is more skilled than they are who can consult and schedule with these patients as appropriate. .
FQHC fully integrated primary care clinic. (PC, mental health, dental, PT, and other wrap around services are all part of a patients care team)
M-F 8a-5p, but they are asked to work one late night a week, so either T or H 10-7
Very limited call - phone call only
Providers are required to schedule 32 patient hours a week. We currently allow 60 minutes for new patient visits and 30 minutes for follow ups for psychiatry, however will be working to increase efficiency to schedule in 20 minute increments when possible in the future. The number of patients a day will depend on how many new patients a provider sees and if they work four or five days a week.
