Located in Montana just 1.5 hrs from Helena, MT
About the GROUP:
As a not-for-profit community health system, the hospital serves approximately 164,000 residents in a geographical area that encompasses a 13-county region that is larger than Connecticut, Delaware, New Hampshire, New Jersey, and Vermont combined and has more than 3,000 employees.
Hospital has 530 licensed beds (that includes 146 beds in long-term care, 71 in assisted living and 20 Hospice beds) and partners with over 250 area physicians.
About the POSITION:
Looking for a Psych NP
Will consider a new grad
They are adding to staff, due to growth
This position works in the Behavioral Health Department
There is an outpatient group and a small inpatient BH unit in addition to a small acute med safe.
Additional opportunities in Child/Adolescent or Geriatrics if they desire.
14 Psych, 5 Med safe exam rooms
This can be either Outpatient of a mix of Inpatient/Outpatient - Opportunity for block schedule for adult. Peds or Geriatrics, outpatient only.
Will work with PMHNP, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Addiction Medicine, Pain Management, Social Workers, Hospitalists, Counselors, RNs, CMAs (pediatricians or geriatricians if in those areas)
Outpatient is M-F or 4 days/week generally 8-5
Inpatient is 7 on/7 off block or combo of 3 week scheduled shared with 2 other depending on preferences - they are flexible
24 hour call if working inpatient (1st call taken from home)
NO call if working outpatient
Pats/hour is up to them. They need to be productive, but they want them to practice good medicine
