Job Description
An experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is needed for an established Pediatric group on the Cape Cod Bay. Interested please See Job ID# 51685
- The group is open Monday-Friday 8:30 am-7:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 am-3:30 pm and holidays from 9:30 am and 3:30 pm (schedule will be discussed during the interview)
- The provider will be responsible to manage the medications that the behavioral patients are on, showing a change or decline in mental status, chronic or urgent medical conditions
- Perform patients’ histories and physicals, risk factor assessment, ordering of therapeutic and diagnostic tests; and attend to consultations and appointments
- Formulate, execute and review healthcare education delivered to patients and families for diseases prevention
- Prescribe medications following the clinic’s policy, formulary and relevant regulations of the State
- Must have at least one-year experience in behavioral health seeing pediatric patients or related field
- Massachusetts license in hand or in process
