JOB TITLE (#1832): Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Rockville Centre, Long Island, NY
A Neuropsychology facility in Rockville Centre, Long Island, NY, is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their team. They are dedicated to providing quality mental health care for all of their patients. Their goal is to achieve an early diagnosis to better serve their patients with success. Their staff is very friendly and team-oriented.
Compensation and Benefits for the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:
- The starting salary for this position is $80 - $90 / hr
- This is a Part-time position (1 - 2 days weekly)
- Benefits include Malpractice
Requirements of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:
- Must have an active State License
- Must be Board Certified
- 2 years of clinical experience is required.
- Traveling to multiple locations is required.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
Responsibilities of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:
- Record patient medical history and symptoms.
- Create patient care plans and contribute to existing plans.
- Perform physical exams and patient observations.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Educating and counseling patients and their families.
