Job Description

A thriving radiology group in the beautiful Williamsburg, Virginia area is seeking an experienced physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their growing team! Candidates must have at least one year of experience in interventional radiology to be considered for this position. Responsibilities:

  • Full-time position - interventional radiology

  • Monday-Friday 7 AM to 5 PM

  • No weekends and no call

  • Collaborate with a fantastic team of PA and NP providers and board-certified radiologists

  • Perform procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, placement and removal of PICC lines, tunneled catheters and ports, CT guided biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and more

  • Obtain comprehensive health histories and perform complete physical examinations during hospitalization

  • Develop patient treatment plans and educate patients about discharge care

  • Communicate patient status information, attend daily rounds, and document progress in the electronic medical record


Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain Virginia Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License

  • BLS/ACLS Certified

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Proficient with EMR systems
