Job Description
Mount Sinai, a world-renowned health system in New York City, is looking for a nurse practitioner with two years of related experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Applies the nursing process and is accountable for the nursing care of a designated group of patients during an assigned tour of duty
- Demonstrates those behaviors which reflect the scientific knowledge, judgment and technical skills of professional nursing
- Ensures nursing assessment is based on interview, examination, observation, and review of records of the patient
- Develops a goal-oriented care plan based on the nursing assessment, with the participation of the patient and significant others
- Ensures nursing actions are consistent with the care plan and medical regimen and hospital procedures
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program. Bachelors Degree in Nursing or higher preferred
- Documented previous experience or educational preparation to support credentials
- Registered Nurse License in New York State
- Certified Nurse Practitioner
- One year or more Nurse Practitioner experience
- 2-3 years’ experience in Rheumatology
- Previous experience with EPIC
- Completed a pharmacy component AND been instructed in New York State and federal laws relating to prescriptions and record keeping.
