Neurosurgery/Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Locums Job in South Carolina
Our client in the Columbia area has a need for an NP or PA to provide Critical Care coverage for their Neurosurgery ICU.
Details/Requirements:
--Start date is as soon as privileging is completed
--One to two weeks a month availability is needed
--Primary responsibility to round in the NSICU from 6pm to 6am and stay in house for all admissions/orders/cross cover
--Physicians round with critical care trained nurses
--Procedures performed: placement of central and arterial lines and intubation
--Daily census: NSICU only volume 14-16 patients and will include in house night shifts and weekends and holidays.
--EMR-EPIC
--Intubation and placement of arterial and central lines
--Ventilator management and placement of central and arterial lines and intubation
