Job Description

CompHealth is currently assisting a facility in Virginia in need of a general surgery nurse practitioner to help with locum tenens coverage. Assignment schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10 am - 8 pm, and Tuesday and Thursday, 6 am - 2 pm. No call unless surgeons request it. Covering physician assistant must have ACLS and BLS certifications. Assignment requirements include first assist in surgery, and the ability to work in acute care. Candidate will work clinic and OR for general surgery, trauma, and orthopedic acute care. Caseload is approximately 15-30 patients per day.
