Job Description
Highly successful neurosurgery program in Denver, Colorado is seeking an experienced PA or NP to join their team! Ideal candidates will have at least 1-2 years of neurosurgery experience, or experience in another surgical specialty such as orthopedic surgery, spine surgery, or trauma surgery. Responsibilities:
- Full-time permanent position - Neurosurgery
- Monday-Friday schedule
- Approximately 50/50 split between OR and clinic
- Work one-on-one with a fellowship trained neurosurgeon
- First-assist in the OR on spinal and cranial cases
- See patients pre-op and post-op in clinic
- Occasional hospital rounding
- On-call schedule - 1 week per month
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in neurosurgery or another relevant surgical specialty
- Ability to obtain Colorado Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
- DEA License
- BLS/ACLS
