Job Description
Aya Locums has an immediate nurse practitioner opening in a high acuity, cardiovascular surgery department. This department is ranked as one of the nation's top 50.
- Active/urgent APP need in CV Surgery
- Will consider NP, PA and/or RNFAs
- Client is open to both permanent and locum providers
Requirements include:
- CVOR experience (Cardio Vascular Operating Room)
- Vein Harvesting
- First Assistant experience
- The schedule is four 10 hr shifts(6a - 4p) or five 8 hr shifts(6a - 2p).
- Initially the Surgical First Assist will not take call or if they do it would be alongside another Surgical First Assist so they can confirm their abilities. Once they take call it is an average of 10 call shifts per 6 week schedule.
- Two years previous clinical nursing experience preferred
- ACLS is required
- It is preferred a minimum of 1 year of Surgical First Assist experience with demonstrated leadership ability.
