(Archived) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Needed for Urgent Care Coverage in Oregon
Job Description
A client based in OR is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide Urgent Care Coverage working 3 twelve hour shifts a week. Providers will see 24 patients daily and work with 1 MD, 1 APP, 1 RN and 3+ MAs. Will see all ages and must be able to suture. Client states that the provider will diagnosis and treatment of common orthopedic injuries and common infectious disease; foreign body removal (skin, nose, ear, vagina); female pelvic exams; I+D simple abscess; digital and localized anesthetic blocks; closed fracture care; EKG and basic XRay interpretation. - Will work 3x12s per week
- 24 patients daily; 90% Adult and 10% Pediatric
- Suturing, all ages, comfortable with acute care and walk in clinic problems
- Must have OR license, BLS and DEA
