Job Description

A health system in North Carolina is looking for an urgent care nurse practitioner. The shifts are from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm plus 1 hour for charting. The locum tenens NP will see up to four patients per hour and will do suturing, splinting, burn care, I&D, foreign body removal, elbow reduction, and laceration repair.   • 3 to 4 months of coverage
  • 13-hour shifts, 1 hour is for charting
  • See up to 4 patients per hour
  • X-ray, iStat, CBC, and Chem 8 Labs on-site
  • Clinic has 10 exam rooms and 2 procedure rooms
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
