AFC Urgent Care
Bridgeport, CT
Advanced Practice Provider
• Seeking 8-12 shifts per month ongoing as soon as possible
• 8a-8p Monday through Saturday, 8a-6p Sunday
• Seeing up to 4 patients per hour
• Providing Family and Urgent Care including: Flu Shots, Covid Testing, Travel Vaccines, STD Testing, Sport Physicals, DOT Physicals, Drug Testing, Colds, sinus/ear/eye infections, rashes, burns, UTI, cuts, lacerations, stitches, allergies, strains, sprains, bruises and fractures
• X-Ray and Labs On-Site
• Covid Testing:
o PCR Testing: Results taking 3-5 business Days
o Rapid Testing: Utilizing the Abbott ID Now System, results are within 20-30 minutes
o Antibody Testing: Requiring a Blood Draw
• Accepting most Insurance Plans
• Staff: Medical Director, Physician Assistant, X-Ray Tech, Medical Assistant and Community Engagement Specialist
• EMR: DocUTap
Requirements:
• Must have experience working in Urgent Care
• Must be comfortable with minor procedures
• Must have an active and unrestricted DEA
• Must have BLS certification
