Job Description
Well respected non-profit in the Cape Cod, MA area is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing! You will ensure the nursing department provides consistent, attentive and efficient care to patients in the Healthcare system. Work alongside some of the areas most well respected Clinicians, Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Nurses!
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING:
- Conduct ongoing supervision of nursing staff as guided by policy and regulatory standards.
- Assist with hiring, training, and monitoring nurses.
- Manage clinical operations and develop care plans.
- Prepare daily schedule and coordinate shifts.
- Participate in implementing, maintaining, and periodically updating written nursing policies, procedures, reference materials, manual, objectives and philosophies.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense management.
- Conduct patient rounds and address complaints.
- Make reports and recommendations to the Director of Nursing concerning operations of the department.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local standards.
- Ensure patient and employee records updated and accurate.
- Prepare reports, statistics, and other data to document department activities.
- Participate in program and corporate wide Quality and Process Improvement activities and initiate these activities in areas of responsibility.
- Provide educational seminars to patients, staff, and the community at large.
Requirements for the Assistant Director of Nursing:
- Five years of experience in addiction nursing and min. of two years in admin or supervisory role
- Bachelors degree preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $76,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
