Position: RN | Manager of Clinical Apheresis Services
Location: Dallas, TX
Status: Full Time / Perm / Direct Hire

Job Duties:

Under the direction of the Medical Director of Clinical Apheresis Services, the Manager of Clinical Apheresis Services is responsible for meeting company and departmental goals and objectives.

The Manager is responsible for managing customer service issues and ensuring excellent customer service is provided.

The Manager provides oversight for a team of nurses and apheresis collection technicians who perform therapeutic procedures on hospitalized patients for treatment of disease, or co collection of cells from donor or patient peripheral blood for various cell therapy treatments or research projects.

The Manager is responsible for managing daily operations and business activities required to meet the needs of hospital and clinical accounts, to ensure excellent customer service, and quality patient care.

Additionally, the position is responsible for staffing field assignments, performing procedures in the field to assist in training or as staffing indicates, and remaining competent in all procedures and equipment utilized.

Also, the Manager is responsible for maintaining statistics and quality indicators of procedures and records of preventative or responsive maintenance along with quality control of supplies and equipment.

Regular full-time attendance is required during office hours.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing: Required

RN active licensure in the State of Texas: Required

​Hemapheresis Practitioner (HP) or Qualification in Apheresis (QIA) credentialing: preferred

At least 5 years’ apheresis experience: Required

Minimum of 3 years should be in therapeutic/PBSC apheresis.

2 years’ of management experience: Required

Strong technical and clinical apheresis skills with the ability to learn new technologies: Required

Excellent written/verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational and customer service skills.

Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills.

Proficient computer skills.

Ability to work independently with attention to detail.

Team-building and interpersonal relationship skills
