Small Acute Care Hospital located in Los Angeles County is looking for a Director of Nursing for their Medical-Surgical Unit!

This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of Management experience over a Med/Surg unit in an acute care hospital setting.

Ideal Candidate: A CA Licensed Registered Nurse with their Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN). MSN Preferred. Experience leading a Med/Surg Unit in a Hospital setting is required.

Job Summary

In collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), the Med/Surg DON assumes full accountability and responsibility for the clinical and fiscal management of a general Med/Surg unit.

The candidate in this position is passionate, with a strong ability to maintain awareness of legal, professional, regulatory, and institutional responsibilities by acting as a liason between the medical staff and the nursing staff.
