Full-time Director of OR / Surgery needed at a top hospital in Virginia!

The Director of Surgical Services is responsible for the scheduling, assessment, planning, and evaluation of total care of patients during the pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative periods. Responsible for the operation of the overall surgical schedule, Central Sterile Supply Unit, and Recovery Room.
This position reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer and is a member of the leadership team of the hospital.
Job Requirements:
* Licensed as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of the Virginia or Compact licensure which includes the Commonwealth of VA, and in good standing with the Board.
* Strongly prefer BSN.
* BCLS required. ACLS and PALS preferred, CNOR preferred.
* Three to five years in a staff RN role. Previous experience in a supervisory/manager/director role is strongly preferred.
