Job Description

• Oversight and supervisor of collection floor to ensure compliance of company’s standard operating procedures (SOP) during day to day clinical operations.
• Ensure consistent and established process flow is followed by all clinical staff to ensure customer orders are fulfilled and shipped timely and monitored in NetSuite, DMS, AdvancedMD.
• ​ Establishing goals and performance expectations with staff that tie to company mission and objectives. Organize workflow and ensure that clinical staff understand their duties or delegated tasks.
• Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching when needed
• ​ Regularly review and evaluate clinical staff performance and complete annual performance evaluations
• ​Monitor daily schedule and coordinate daily workflow with donor management staff
• Promotes an atmosphere of open communication that facilitates staff input into decision-making, resolution of conflict, and collegiality among all team members, including Donor Management.
• Demonstrate effective and professional inter-disciplinary communication
• Schedule clinical staff shifts
• Oversight of preparation, review and completion of monthly quality control documents
• Oversee all ongoing and new staff training in support of Clinical Operations management.
• Initiate, perform, and complete donor collection procedures according to specified policies and standard operating procedures
• Provide back-up support and input to site management for staff scheduling, process flow, staff hiring and operational decisions
• Act as clinical point of contact during audits or clinical investigations.
• Able to manage time effectively and establish efficient work flow on the donor floor.
• Demonstrate competency and maintain confidentiality
• Manage continuous improvement of practices, processes and procedures to further donor satisfaction, compliance, documentation and efficiency.

Qualifications and Job Info

• Bachelors in Nursing
• Current State Registered Nurse License
• Current CPR Certification
• Minimum 6 years of full time clinical nursing experience in oncology, apheresis,blood bank, or dialysis required.
• 3-5 years clinical supervisory experience with multiple direct reports
• Demonstrated leadership skills and people management skills
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Good Apps required; willingness to learn additonal job relevant software
• Usually walking or standing to do work with some sitting, bending, and stooping will be required.
