Rainier Springs – Director of Nursing
Rainier Springs is a 72 -bed behavioral hospital located in Vancouver, WA. The hospital, which opened in 2018, offers inpatient and outpatient mental health an addiction treatment to adults and their families. The hospital also offers quality assessment and treatment services for Mental Health and Chemical Dependancy. At Rainier Springs we are dedicated to Changing People’s Lives®.

Position Details
- Support the organization, program and unit philosophy of care
- Supervise nursing staff including hiring, training and performance
- Liaison between physicians, patients, referral sources and employees
- Prepare monthly reports
Qualifications
- Bachlor's degree required, Master’s degree preferred in psychiatric or mental health nursing or its equivalent
- Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing
- CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred. Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
