Nurse Manager
Progressive Care Unit & Respiratory
(Med Surg, Step Down, ICU)

We are currently recruiting for a Nurse Manager to oversee our Progressive Care Unit and Respiratory Therapy department.

While reporting directly to the CNO, the Nurse Manager manages daily operations of the Progressive Care Unit and Respiratory Therapy Departments. The Nurse Manager directs and supervises functions and activities; interprets policies, procedures, standards and regulations as appropriate. The Nurse Manager partners with Medical Staff to ensure the quality and productivity of the Progressive Care Unit and Respiratory Therapy Departments operations at the hospital.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field. Master's Degree in Nursing preferred. Must possess current RN licensure in the State of Vermont.

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience in ICU or other critical care experience strongly preferred. Minimum of five (5) years management experience required.

Special Skills: Strong clinical operational, communication and interpersonal skills; time management; organization and multitasking of competing priorities. Experience with LEAN and Studer strategies required. ACLS & BLS
