Position: Buyer / Purchasing / Supplies

Description:
Tower Health Urgent Care is seeking an experienced buyer / purchaser to order, track and maintain medical supplies for multiple locations. Responsible for procuring goods and services for our urgent care network while ensuring the satisfaction of staff and developing positive relationships with vendors and other external constituents. Ensure financial due diligence with all transactions, proactively resolve any buying or vendor related issues.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
2 year Associate Degree: Business related (Preferred)
Combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree
Experience and Skills:
1-3 years of proven purchasing and vendor relations for a healthcare organization strongly preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask while maintaining organization
Ability to speak, read, write, English
Computer proficiency: Microsoft Excel, Word
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable vehicle required as local travel is necessary.
