Description
Provides coordination of unit communications; transcribes medical information and physician orders and performs clerical reception for the nursing unit. Performs clinical duties as delegated by RN and within the scope of this job description
Requirements
Education/Skills
- High school diploma or GED preferred;
- Successful completion of a Nurse Aid course, EMT course or successful completion of skills clinicals in nursing school preferred
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support or completion within 90 days of employment; Current Nurse Aid Certification if CNA; Basic EMT certification if EMT
