Job Description
Now hiring Medical Assistants with experience in various locations throughout the suburbs of Philadelphia. Positions start as part time with potential to transition to Full Time if desired.
The Medical Assistant performs direct care to assigned patients under the direction and supervision of the RN/ Provider. This includes taking vital signs such as height/weight, blood pressure, updating medical records, as well as assisting providers with exams as requested. The MA also performs front desk operation such as checking patients in and out, scanning, copying, answering the phone, and related duties as requested.
Education Requirements
Medical Assistant Certification
Experience will be considered in lieu of certification.
Experience and Skills
1-3 Years Previous experience in assisting healthcare provider with patient care
EMR experience preferred.
Front Desk duties- patient check in and discharge, insurance verification
Required Skills:
Excellent Communications Skills
Taking vitals - including blood pressure
Performing EKG's
Blood Draws
Clerical Skills
Must have reliable transportation as some travel may be necessary.
