Position: Medical Assistant
Location: Portland, OR
Shift: 8A-4:30P

Job Duties

• Performs Medical Assistant duties
• Applies X-rays to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes within scope of limited scope X-ray practice as directed by physician and concurrent with company medical protocols, all in accordance with company policies, practices, and procedures
• Assist in clerical duties as well as support the back office
• Will spend one-on-one time with our patients where company will rely on your excellent customer service skills
• Ensure an efficient and comfortable stay for our patients

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year working as a Medical Assistant
• Must have phlebotomy skills and intake skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills needed
• Experience with EMR (Allscripts)
• Must have experience with obtaining vitals and sending labs out
• Pre-authorization and medication dispensing experience
