Rad Tech - Urgent Care
Tower Health Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Rad Tech to join our urgent care staff. Tower Health is the largest provider of urgent care services, based on weekly visits, in the metropolitan Philadelphia area. Our Urgent Care locations are open 365 days a year and offers patients access to advanced, comprehensive care from 9 a.m. to 9.pm.
Description:
The rad tech is responsible for performing radiographic procedures including processing, identification and documentation associated with this. The RT is responsible for assessing patient condition and applying appropriate procedure methods. Practices radiation protection at all times. Maintains smooth operational flow and maximum patient throughput.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Completion of formal Radiologic Technologist, AMA approved program.
Skills & Abilities:
Must be proficient in routine, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric and trauma patients. Must be able to communicate well, have organizational and interpersonal skills, perform work accurately and learn and operate various computer hardware and software.
Required Licenses / Certifications:
ARRT certified technologist.
CPR certified.
Maintains appropriate CE credits as per ARRT
