Job Description

Location: Chicago

We are seeking several Registered Nurses that are interested in working with Children and Adolescents in a clinic/ temporary residential housing facility in Chicago. Under the direction of a Psychiatrist and Mental Health Administrator, you would be responsible for patient assessment and medication management.
An RN that has an interest in working in mental health will be trained for this very rewarding position. The organization recently partnered with DCFS and have a very strong group of healthcare providers.

This facility has a primary clinic and residential housing that is open 24 hours a day. They have a very strong, dedicated group of healthcare providers.

Days, evenings and overnight shifts are available.

The schedule is either working four 8-hour shifts or 3- 12-hour shifts and two days per month on a Saturday or Sunday.

RESPONIBILIES:
*Head to toe assessment of patient, recognize abnormal findings, and report to physician provider.
*Triage any new intake and follow the Five Right of Medication administration when medicating a child

  • Excellent oral and written skills. Communicate decisions promptly, clearly.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, deadlines and program compliance.
