Overview
POSITION SUMMARY:
The RN Clinical Excellence Project Specialist is a member of the solution design and integration team and is responsible for the development of implementable solutions for OSF clinical best practices. Works within an intraprofessional team to create innovative solutions supported by evidence based practice and current research through the adaptive use of various performance improvement methodologies, including components of agile. Works closely with clinical agenda dyads, quality and safety and operational leaders throughout the ministry to ensure alignment throughout tests of change and implementation efforts. Identifies opportunities through tests of change of potential gaps in processes which could create barriers to successful implementation and sustainment outcomes. Creates measurement plans to evaluate success during the development phases of the projects and assists with data analysis. Works closely with others in the Clinical Excellence Center of Expertise in addressing quality care gaps or processes that enhance workforce commitment as well as quality, safety, service and financial performance that supports the achievement of strategic outcomes for OSF.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
BSN
Experience:
3 years of work experience in healthcare
Experience with project management and performance improvement experience in a complex setting
Licensure/Certifications:
Registered Nurse in current state
