Job Description

Full-time Maternal Child Tract Registered Nurse needed at a top, 150-bed, hospital in a beautiful area of west Texas, in one of the best small cities for employment!

$12,000 Bonus

This Registered Nurse is responsible for the care of ante partum, postpartum, medical and surgical female patients. The RN collaborates with other nurses, physicians, and allied health personnel to ensure efficient and effective work flow of their scheduled shift and a smooth transition to the next shift. The RN is expected to be able to perform the duties of unit secretary and nurse aide as defined in their respective job descriptions and participate in performance improvement activities. The Registered Nurse works closely with the Director, the charge Nurse, members of the Maternal/Child Tract, medical staff, as well as other professional staff, ancillary department members, visitors and families.

Qualifications:
*One or more years experience in desired specialty
*License in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
*BCLS for Healthcare Providers through American Heart Association current upon hire and required throughout employment
*ACLS required within 6 months if OB is home department; maintained throughout employment
*PALS, NRP, and RNC preferred
