RN needed in metro Atlanta area · Locum or locum to Perm Registered Nurse/LPN position available with the a premier Gastroenterology practice in the Atlanta Metro area · State-of-the art facility licensed by the Georgia Department of Health as an Ambulatory Surgical Facility specializing in endoscopic procedures. · Staffing need is for PT to FT coverage · The endoscopy center is open from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m; or 8 a.m to 4p.m; depending on location · Provides individualized and specialized nursing care to patients within the endoscopy center in accordance with physician’s orders, recognized nursing techniques, legal aspects of current nurse practice in the State of Georgia and the Center’s policies and procedures. Is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating the nursing care given to patients. Will have contact with the patient in each phase of his experience. Must be self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
