DIRECTOR OF CARE MANAGEMENT / CASE MANAGEMENT NURSING
Nurse Director Case Management (RN) needed in Miami OR Plantation, FL.
Hospital system is well established, financially secure, and has been serving population of South Florida for over 60 years.
As a comprehensive acute healthcare facility, this hospital offers a full range of services to the residents of Miami-Dade county and surrounding communities.
Job Description:
- Reporting to the CFO, the Director Case Management and has overall accountability for the Case Management function in a facility.
- The role established objectives, directs department operation and develops overall departmental strategies in alignment with the overall direction of case management within the Division and organization.
- The Director is responsible for the results of the unit as well as the development and deployment of staff within their area of responsibility.
Qualifications
- Current FL RN Licensure, or Compact Multistate Licensure
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree strongly preferred
- 10+ years of experience in Case Management required; 2-3 years of experience as a Director Case Management in acute care setting;
- Must have acute hospital case management and case management leadership experience
- Case Management Certification preferred
- InterQual knowledge and experience preferred
