Job Description
While practicing Service Excellence skills, the RN assumes the responsibility and accountability for providing safe and competent direct/indirect nursing care for post operative patients’ needs in accordance with Hospital policies, procedures, standards and philosophy and provides professional leadership and support to health team members. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to integrate nursing theory into practice using nursing process.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to problem solve and work effectively with patients, families, staff and physicians.
- Ability to plan and organize and work effectively in stressful situations.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Good utilization of computer and other tools needed for job performance.
- Schedule: 6a-2:30pm, Monday - Friday, no weekends. - OR - 12p-12:30a, 3 days per week, no weekends.
Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing |
2-3 years experience in Critical Care (ICU, CCU, CVSICU) preferred. |
|
Current RN licensure in Florida |
BLS (or obtained within 90 days of employment) |
|
ACLS (or obtained within 90 days of employment)
|
