Job Description

7 years experience as a registered nurse
Active RN license in state working, or compact designation
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institution - required
Inpatient procedural area experience preferred

Position Description
Summary: Drive physician and clinician engagement through relationship building, analytical and educational efforts to achieve maximum support and utilization of clinical protocols and formularies. Provides strategic, operational and tactical support to both market-based executives and directors. Support use of preferred medical products across the enterprise through in-person collaboration and communication with surgeons, physicians, nursing and clinical leaders. Responsible for on-site communication and physician and clinical engagement, supporting product and equipment conversions and practice changes. Supports Sanford Value Analysis Teams (SVAT) through organizational engagement of identification, evaluation and implementation of product decisions and utilization management to lower total supply costs. Build understanding and support
for best patient outcomes through enterprise standardization of clinical practice and associated products in a transparent manner. Manage product and equipment trials, including compiling and summarizing evaluation responses. Responsible for successful conversion information and timelines to hand off to operations. Expected to round on units and attend staff meetings. Participate in the development of long term strategies that include supplier support in maintaining best clinical practices, staff education, formulary compliance and best outcomes. Triage and resolve customer concerns. Build relationships with customers through interactions and support in a highly professional manner.

Education
Bachelor's degree in nursing required. Master’s degree preferred.
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
Minimum seven years’ experience as a registered nurse. Inpatient procedural area experience preferred.

Credentials
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
