We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse RN for a Director of Inpatient Services opening. Our Client is a non-profit health care and social service agency that extensively cares for their patients of Las Vegas, New Mexico. Our client offers the following benefits:

Registered Nurse RN / Director of Inpatient Services/ Hospital




Job Responsibilities

Our Client has the opportunity for a driven, passionate, and caring Registered Nurse RN. This Director will be responsible for the day to day operations of both the Medical Surgical and Intensive Care Unit. This position will have oversight of about 10 full time employees. The Director of Inpatient Services will report to and work collaboratively with the Chief Nursing Officer. Additional responsibilities for the Registered Nurse RN Director of Inpatient Services include but are not limited to:


Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Provide clinical care management initiatives
Provide clinical education and supervision for medical assistant staff
Work collaboratively with case management and health education to effectively coordinate care as directed by the primary care medical staff
Implement orders for specific interventions as indicated by the medical staff
Assess the physical and psychosocial needs of the patient
Take a complete history of individual and family members
Make referrals to primary care provider for chronic or episodic care
Administer immunizations, tuberculosis tests, monitor medication
Advise and educate clients about their physical and mental health, self-care, prevention strategies, and use of medical resources

Specific qualifications for the Director of Inpatient Services role include:


A supportive, transformational and collaborative Management Style-Required
Bachelor’s in nursing-Preferred
10 years of Med/Surg or ICU experience-Preferred
3 years of Management Experience-Required
