Full-time Chief Quality Officer needed at top hospital in Texas!

The Chief Quality Officer is responsible for planning, administration, and monitoring of consistent readiness of all quality management, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement processes. The CQO will oversee and coordinate all organizational efforts to monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory agencies, State, Federal government, and Joint Commission. The position reports directly to the CEO.
* Education: Nursing or other clinical healthcare license/degree. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of three years in an acute care facility and demonstrates a clear working knowledge of general hospital operations, Joint Commission (JC), OSHA, Medicare COP, and state requirements. Minimum of two years experience in Quality Management required. Must have coordinated Joint Commission preparation and participated in State and CMS surveys within past three years.
* Licenses/Certificates: Current license as Registered Professional Nurse or other health care professional. Advanced certification and training preferred.
