Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assists and supervises staff with direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with surgeons, serves as a clinical resource
- Coordinates with other units, and maintains relationships through constant communication with other units
- Consults with Director of Surgical Services on issues to ensure patient needs are met.
- Assists in planning, organizing and facilitating policy and training.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSn desired, MSN preferred
- Current California RN License
- 2 years acute care experience OR
- 2 years management experience in Surgical Services
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare BLS, ACLS
- Current TB Certificate
