Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the daily operations of the Pgrogessive Care Unit
- Assures that the highest quality of care is provided in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards
- Reports directly to the Director
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Current RN license by the Board of Nurse Examiners State of California - Must have CA licence to submit
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR Card
- Current ACLS (if responsible for Critical Care or ED
- PALS (if responsible for ED or Peds)
- NRP (if responsible for NICU or Nursery)
- TNCC (if responsible for ED)
- Certifications may be obtained within the first six months of hire with prior CNO approval.
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in PCU
- Management experience required - Must be able to demonstrate leadership aptitude, competency, and qualities.
