Job Description
This health center has been in the area, serving the community for over 100 years and are extremely well respected locally. The hospital is a regional Level II trauma center with state-of-the-art cardiology and neurosurgery programs. They've earned a five-star ranking in three cardiology and cardiac surgery programs so this is a fantastic opportunity with an amazing team.
Here's a bit more info on the role and shift:
- Responsible for the day-to-day management and long-term planning of the unit including patient care, directing and developing staff, collaborating with physicians, and multidisciplinary professional staff
- Assess, measures and improves employee engagement; oversees daily workflow, staffing, orientation, training, competencies and staff development
- Ensure financial performance and responsible management of all departmental resources
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Mastered preferred
- Minimum of 2+ years of management experience within Medical/Surgical unit
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with proven track record of building successful teams
