Shift: Day Shift w/ occasional evenings
Job Description:
The Quality Department is responsible for planning, administration, and monitoring of consistent readiness of all quality management, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement processes. The Director of QMRC will oversee and coordinate all hospital efforts to monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory, State, Federal government, and the Joint Commission standards. Minimum of three years in an acute care facility and demonstrates a clear working knowledge of general hospital operations, Must have experience in credentialing and corporate responsibility processes. The Joint Commission, OSHA, Medicare COP, and state requirements. Minimum of two years experience in Quality Management required. Must have coordinated THE JOINT COMMISSION preparation and participated in State and CMS surveys within past three years.

The average hospital census is 12. Average surgical cases per weekday are 15.
Nursing or other clinical healthcare license/degree. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred. Preferred: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality.
The location is close to several major cities-St. Louis, Mo (1 ½ hours), Chicago, IL (4 hours) and they are a great sized city (just shy of 20,000 people!).
