Job Description
Position: RN - School Nurse
Location: Aventura, FL
Shift: Mon. - Fri. 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
Start: Immediately
Job Details
- Provides health promotion and disease prevention education
- Assist with cleaning school related injuries; cuts,bruises,falls,bleeding
- Health related counseling, health screening, and administration of medications
- Monitors student health records, provides assistance for the ill students/staff member during the school day
- Serve as an Advocate for students within the school system
- Liaison between the student and members of the teaching professions to promote student welfare and success.
- Maintains nursing supplies inventory
- Maintains safe and clean working environment
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
Requirements
- Active RN state license
- BLS/CPR Certificate
- 1-2 year of experience
- Must have clinical skills
