Job Description
We are seeking a Nurse Manager to join our practice in Brighton, MA.
The Nurse Manager will be responsible for training, supervising, and supporting an energetic group of staff nurses. The Nurse Manager will also work with medical leadership to continue to define the future of nursing including improved workflows for care coordination, rolling out nurse education visits, etc. The Nurse Manager will work with patients and staff who are racially, ethnically, and culturally diverse, so being culturally competent is required.
Salary range based on experience: $35-41 /hr
Responsibilities of the Nurse Manager
- Guide, mentor, and train new nurses and ensure all staff has ongoing clinical support and in-services in order to stay up to date in their field.
- Ensure appropriate Provider/Nurse/Medical Assistant ratios and coverage with support.
- Take care of patients as a Staff Nurse in the Health Center 50-60% of the time and perform management and administrative duties to improve the health center.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements of the Nurse Manager
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing; Master's preferred
- MA RN license with 3+ years of experience in nursing with recent clinical experience in outpatient medical settings.
- Bilingual/bicultural preferred.
