(Archived) ICU Nursing Director - Brand New Facility

Community Hospital in Grand Junction Colorado is actively looking for an ICU Nursing Director to positively lead the development of the ICU department and contribute to professional growth of the nursing culture at Community Hospital.

Position Summary and Responsibilities:

Working Supervisor with clinical responsibilities

• • Provide ICU Staff supervision, vision, hiring/firing, and professional development
  • Monitor services performed by outside vendors
  • Manage administrative and financial responsibilities of the department
  • Actively contribute to the development of a culture for patient safety and high quality patient care

Qualifications and Experience

• • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Master’s Degree preferred)
  • Current and unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado
  • ICU Nursing Experience (ICU Nursing Leadership preferred)
  • Current BLS and ACLS Certifications at time of hire
  • PALS Certification with 6 months of joining organization
  • Certification in Critical Care Nursing strongly preferred
