Location: CHINO VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER (CVMC), 5451 Walnut Ave, Chino, CA 91710
Shift Timing: 19:00-07:00 (Night shift)
Speciality: ER - Emergency Department
Pay Breakdown:
Local Pay:
Total Gross for 13 weeks = $3,108 x 13 weeks = $40,404
Regular pay for 24 regular hours (3 shifts of 12 hours each) = 24 x $74 = $1,776
Overtime pay for 12 hours = 12 x $74 x 1.5 = $1,332
Travel allowance for 36 hours (40 hours max) = 36 x $0 = $
Total weekly pay for 36 hours = $3,108
Effective blended rate = $3,108 / 36 hours = $86.34 per hour
Travel Pay:
Total Gross for 13 weeks = $3,570 x 13 weeks = $46,410
Regular pay for 24 regular hours (3 shifts of 12 hours each) = 24 x $55 = $1,320
Overtime pay for 12 hours = 12 x $55 x 1.5 = $990
Travel allowance for 36 hours (40 hours max) = 36 x $35 = $1,260
Total weekly pay for 36 hours = $3,570
Effective blended rate = $3,570 / 36 hours = $99.17 per hour
Description:
The Emergency Staff RN assumes responsibility and accountability for patient care in the Emergency Department, utilizing the nursing process for a designated time frame. Provides care of these patients according to Marshall Medical Center’s (MMC’s) standard of practice. Maintains good public relations by interacting with patients, visitors, physicians, and other staff members in a friendly and professional manner. Functions as the patient’s advocate at all times. Oversees the performance of any non-professional whose activities impact their patient’s care. Ensures the safe handling of infectious material, and ensures patient and staff safety at all times.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Licensure/Certification:
- Current California Registered Nursing (RN) License required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Will train for Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Courses (TNCC) preferred
Knowledge/Experience:
- ER experience must..
- Has the physical and mental health sufficient to accomplish the duties of a RN
- Must have basic computer skills.
