POSITION SUMMARY:
This Nurse Leader reports to the Associate Chief Nursing Officer - Emergency Department, and will collaborate with a strong nursing leadership team to drive forward process improvement initiatives and maintain a positive tone in this fast paced, challenging environment. This confident, driven leader will enjoy working alongside an Assistant Manager, Nurse Manager, Nurse Educator, and other colleagues to elevate practice to an even higher level of excellence. While the role requires a dynamic and energetic leader, there is an excellent infrastructure in place to support work/life balance and self-care. This individual will be an integral member of a cohesive, successful, and highly respected nursing leadership team.
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years emergency nursing experience, with additional significant experience as a Nurse Manager, preferably in a busy urban Level 1 Trauma Center. Demonstrated credibility as a Nurse Leader, broad based healthcare operations expertise, and ability to forge collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization required. BSN required, advanced degree preferred.
EDUCATION
Requires graduation from an accredited baccalaureate nursing program; MSN preferred
